DINING AT VILLA ROMEO IS THE COMFORT OF STAYING IN PLACE, IN A ROMANTIC ATMOSPHERE WITH QUALITY PRODUCTS TO SATISFY THE GOURMETS.
Our table d’hôte (evening dinner service) is mainly composed of fresh, local produce and we are committed to serving meals that are “homemade”, delicately enhanced with natural flavours: coriander, basil, mint, allspice, kaffir lime, for a perfect combination of flavour and creativity. The chef expertly blends the sweet with the savoury, traditional with inventive, combining authenticity and originality.
THE DINNERS
Evening menus, served at 7:30 pm, are 37 euros per person and must be reserved in advance. The meal includes an aperitif and appetizers, a starter, a main course, a dessert, a hot drink (coffee or herbal tea), a bottle of water and rum arranged for those who wish. A wine list will be presented separately to accompany the food.
The table d’hôte is not proposed every evening. If we do not offer dinner option on the evening (s) of your visit, we will provide you with a list of restaurants.
On evenings when we do not offer table d’hôte, you also have the possibility of using the kitchen adjoining the restaurant and thus enjoying the calm environment and the view of the ocean. The kitchen is equipped and you can use hobs, oven or microwave as well as crockery and kitchen utensils. We thank you in advance for keeping the place in the clean and tidy condition in which you found it upon your arrival.
BREAKFASTS
At breakfast, served between 7:30 am and 9 am*, you can taste our house specialties: yoghurts, jams, fresh fruit juice, rolls, pastries, cakes … while enjoying a breathtaking view of the ocean and the Piton de la Fournaise. Breakfast is predominantly sweet, in accordance with the tradition of the French breakfast.
Breakfast is included in the nightly room rate.
*If you wake up very early in the morning, we will prepare a breakfast as a “take away”… but of good quality based !
